When I first hooked up with Derek, We agreed he would get paid to be my backup music. To perform the songs I wanted. I was going to be in control of my own destiny. Derek had no dream to make a living at this, yet, I want to get to go all the way.
Well, Derek is too good to sit in my shadow, so I then introduced US, instead of just me.
He still says he doesn't want this to be his living, but if we start reaching a level of success, I am sure he will change his mind.

The D&D Acoustic Duo plays Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, some Country and Pop Cover Tunes with just one Acoustic Guitar, and one voice (w/some backup vocals).
Don't be fooled, Derek's Guitar playing can make you forget there is no band, and the vocals are among the best in Ohio.
Our gigs have a personal, campfire sing along type atmosphere. We listen to what the crowd wants, and love to have fun. When we are not playing today's rock, D&D Acoustic is about the "Other" great classic songs that aren't being covered by other bands. I mean "Amie" and "Mustang Sally" are great songs, but you can hear them any night, anywhere, by anyone. When the night is over, we want our audience to take with them memories that were stirred up by a great song they haven't heard in a while. When is the last time you heard a "Jackson Browne" song "live" by a cover band? How about "Firefall" or "Rush"?
